Tulip Dice Bags

dice bagdice bag 2

Off to game?   You may enjoy a dice bag in the shape of a tulip to take with you.  I think many of us girl gamers need one, regardless of your character.  Although these would always go well with an Elf or Druid for sure.

I like to knit when I am traveling, or waiting for some reason.  I found the free pattern at, Deep Sea Flower Dice Bag, and couldn’t help but make one for myself and a couple for gifts for friends.  I chose the Lion Brand Amazing yarn because it’s 53% wool and the rest acrylic.  The pattern recommends Noro Kureyon wool yarn, which I felt that the Lion Brand did give a similar look.  I do like 100% wool but I knew I wanted to wash this, and didn’t want the bag to felt, though I may try it in 100% wool at a later time.  The Rainforest color in this yarn made a great mossy look for the base.  I used different instructions from Stephanie Dosen’s book to add a leaf and flower, instead of using the “tube” slider they included in the pattern.

A big thank you to my husband in helping me put together some of his terrain pieces for the picture!
